For students
What is Academic Study Skills?

Academic Study Skills teaches university and pre-university students the practical skills a degree assumes you already have — time management, reading, note-taking and exam preparation — through free guides, interactive courses and a personal progress tracker.

Is it free to use?

The guides, blog and the first lesson of every course are free to read. The full interactive courses, progress tracking, certificates and the study assistant are part of the student portal — free for students at partner institutions, or via Student Plus.

Do I need an account?

Not to read the guides, the blog or the first lesson of each course. A free account (via an access code) unlocks the full courses, saves your progress across devices, gives you the study assistant, and lets you earn certificates.

What is an access code, and where do I get one?

An access code lets you create an account and unlock the full portal. If your university or college is a partner, they will give you a code. Otherwise, ask whoever invited you, or contact us.

What courses are available?

Two full interactive courses are live — Time Management for University Students and Academic Writing Essentials (each four lessons with exercises and quizzes). Referencing & Citations, Critical Thinking and more Academic Language & Learning courses are on the way.

Is my data private?

Yes. We run on sovereign infrastructure in Estonia with no third-party trackers and no ad networks, and we never sell your data.

For universities
Can my university offer this to students?

Yes — that is how we work best. Institutions license Academic Study Skills for their whole cohort at a fraction of the cost of running paid study-skills provision in-house. See For universities.

How does institutional access work?

We issue your institution one or more access codes. Students create an account with the code and get the full library, courses and progress tracking — no integration required to start.

Do you support SSO or rostering?

Single sign-on and rostering are available on request for larger institutions. Get in touch and we will scope it with you.

How much does an institutional licence cost?

Pricing is per cohort and scales down per student — far cheaper than seat-by-seat tools or in-house workshops. Talk to us for a quote and a demo login.
